Blackjack Extra Rules and Options |
Blackjack is famous for its extra rules and options. Doubling the rate
in the game of blackjack is very widespread. If a player's hand
contains only two cards, the amount of points which is not 21, he may
double his bet (in some casinos you can double down only if you have
9-11 points). At the same time he must make a bet equal to the initial
rate on this hand, after which the player receives only one card,
regardless of its merits.
There is also a rule of split – separation of the equal
cards. If the first two cards of the player have the same value, for
example: two nines, two fours, two ten-point cards (Spades, Diamonds),
etc., this combination can be divided into two new ones. In this case,
the player must double his original bet. Dividing the card, the dealer
gives the player additional cards to the first hand and concluding the
game goes to the second. If after the division of Ace the player gets a
second 10 card, it is not a combination of "Black Jack" and is just
considered to be an amount of points of 21. In Split on aces, each ace
is dealt one card. If after the deal on his hands it is once again
proved to be the same value cards, the player may make one or more
divisions, according to the rules of a particular casino.
Insurance in the game of blackjack is also very useful. If the dealer's
first card is ace, the player can make the insurance bet on Black Jack
that is equal to half of the original one. This insurance wins 2:1 if
the dealer drops the same combination and loses in all other cases.
There are options for insurance in the choice of several boxes, when
the insurance can be done or all the boxes or selectively, with open
their cards, or in private.
The player has the right to refuse to play blackjack on first two
cards, losing half of the original bet.
